Trivet crafted from pure white clay and carefully hand painted. It can be used as a trivet, cheese board or serving plate. The pattern is inspired by Portuguese 'azulejos', a distinctive tile displaying both simple and elaborate designs and found on building façades all across Portugal. They form an important part of the country’s architecture and identity, but interestingly get their name from Arabic and date back to the time of Moorish rule. Each piece is unique and signed by the artisan who conceived it.
