This teapot is part of the The Whistler collection, named after the biggest and one of the oldest cork oak trees in the world located in the Alentejo region of Portugal. This special tree lends its name to a set of pieces in which cork embraces earthenware just as it does the wood in the tree. The traditional pottery of the region inspired the shapes for this collection.
